As I writer, I know I should write. It is the way I get my ideas down on paper. But there are times when I just don’t feel like it. I know I should, but I can’t get there. I usually distract myself with other things (family, phone, tv) to avoid writing. I have a drawer full of ideas that I could use to write things.
I guess it’s a lot like exercise, which I also “mean to do”. I need to get into a practice of doing it every day, so I get into the habit. Maybe I should start a journal and summarize what writing I did that day. That may help show me that progress does happen.
